Mr. Gaspero was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and spent the majority of his life in Delaware County. In 2012, Mr. Gaspero moved to North Wilmington with his wife and daughter. However, he is not a stranger to Delaware having attended Salesianum High School. Mr. Gaspero graduated from St. Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2001. He was involved with the Cap & Bells Dramatic Arts Society at St. Joe's and was the managing director of theater in his junior and senior year at the university. Following graduation, Mr. Gaspero spent a year as a juvenile probation officer for Delaware County in the City of Chester. After witnessing first hand the inherent problems relating to the crime and poverty of the area, he decided to pursue a law degree at Temple University and received his Juris Doctor in 2005.
Shortly after graduating from Temple, Mr. Gaspero joined a Delaware County law firm as an associate and for over 7 years worked on a variety of civil matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, landlord/tenant, breach of contract, complex corporate litigation matters involving fraud, usurpation of corporate opportunity, civil conspiracy and shareholder derivative suits. Mr. Gaspero has also worked on a variety of criminal defense matters, including DUIs, drug offenses, assaults and burglary cases and domestic relations matters, including divorce, child support, spousal support and custody. Mr. Gaspero joined Ferry Joseph as an associate in 2013.
