Mr. Sullivan was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on May 6, 1961. He has lived in Delaware since 1965, attending: Dover High School; the University of Delaware; and Delaware Law School (now known as Widener). Mr. Sullivan served as a Military Policeman for the United States Army in between college and law school. Mr. Sullivan served as the Clerk of the Court for New Castle County Family Court for two years following law school, and then as a Staff Attorney for New Castle County Superior Court for two years. Mr. Sullivan conducted a solo practice of law for 16 years before joining Ferry, Joseph & Pearce in 2008. Mr. Sullivan served a four year term as a Judge of Newark Alderman’s Court and still maintains an office in Newark around the corner from the Newark Court. His practice consists primarily of Estate Planning; Estate Administration; and Corporate Formation and Documentation. Mr. Sullivan has testified as an expert witness on Delaware Corporate Law regarding Series Limited Liability Companies. Among the examples of reduced fee legal representation, Mr. Sullivan has defended many thousands of patients at the Delaware Psychiatric Center.
