Ms. Coggins was born in Wilmington, Delaware on July 27, 1971. While attending law school at night she worked full time as a law clerk for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and then as a corporate bankruptcy paralegal until her graduation.
Ms. Coggins focuses her practice on commercial bankruptcy,
estate planning and administration, elder law, including
guardianship actions, workers compensation and business
formation. Ms. Coggins has represented individuals,
businesses, executors/personal representatives, trustees, plan
administrators and municipalities in various matters and
often serves
as a Court appointed attorney ad litem in guardianship actions
as well. Additionally, Ms. Coggins is a
certified mediator for the Superior Court for the State of
Delaware, New Castle County. In bankruptcy matters Ms.
Coggins has represented clients as lead and local counsel in
various cases, including but not limited to, defending and
prosecuting preference actions filed in the District of
Delaware.
